Baptism Preparation
Sacred Heart welcomes new life in the Sacrament of Baptism, which is celebrated on Sundays following 10:30am Mass. Parents are encouraged to make arrangements for a Baptism by contacting the Parish Office at (413)443-6960 to assist them in planning for the Sacrament in accordance with our Catholic Faith.
Altar Server
Boys and girls from grade 3 and above who assist the priest at the liturgy. Please contact the the Parish Office at 443-6960
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion who serve the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass and to the sick and homebound. Please contact the Parish Office at 443-6960
Lector
Reader who proclaim the Scriptures at Mass and other services. Please contact the Parish Office at (413)443-6960
RCIA
Rite of Christian Initiation – preparation of adult candidates for Catholic sacraments. Contact the Parish Office at (413)443-6960 for more information.
Sacred Heart Women's Honor Guard

Funeral Server
Men and women who assist at Funeral Masses to enhance the worship of our faith community. If you wish to become part of this important ministry, please call the Parish Office at (413)443-6960
Stations of the Cross
Held Friday afternoons at 3:00pm during Lent and at 3:00pm on Good Friday.
Usher / Minister of Hospitality
These volunteers ensure that Sacred Heart Church is a welcoming Catholic community. Their duties include making parishioners feel welcome, assisting people to their seat if necessary and taking part in the collection as needed.
Rosary Sodality
The Rosary Sodality membership is made up of all adult Sacred Heart female parishioners. Meetings are held in the Parish Center September through May at 4pm on the 4th Monday of the month. Music Ministry - Adult Choir
The adult choir is directed by Mary Verdi and sings at Mass each week. Rehearsals are Sundays at 9:30 am between Masses. This choir sings a range of styles both traditional and contemporary pieces. Eucharistic Adoration
Adoration is at the church from 9:30 am to 12 noon on Fridays.
Offertory Counters
Groups of 4 count the funds collected at Mass each week. Each group volunteers about once a month.
Parish Pastoral Council
The PPC is involved in most activities and programs effecting the liturgical and spiritual life of Sacred Heart Parish.
Communion for Homebound
If you are unable to attend the weekend liturgy because of illness or lack of mobility or other health reasons and would like to be included on our Communion list, please call the Parish Office at 443-6960. Also, if you or a family member is dismissed from the hospital to a nursing home or residential facility, and would like to receive visits from our pastoral ministers.
Friends of St. Vincent de Paul
For many years The Friends of Saint Vincent have helped families in our community. Sacred Heart Church has a committee known as the "Friends of St. Vincent de Paul." "It is our mission to seek out and help those in need."

The Friends of St Vincent de Paul office is located in the Sr. Kathryn Community Outreach Office in the Parish Center.
Prayer Line
Sacred Heart Parish is blessed to have a group of parishioners who join in supportive prayer for our parish community. If you have an intention to be remembered in prayer, just call the parish office by Tuesday afternoon.
Prayer Shawl Ministry
This ministry began as a visible way for us to nurture and care for members of our parish family. A shawl is a sign that we live and care for each other. We invite everyone to join our Ministry that meets each Monday in the Parish Center from 6:30-8:00pm. Please contact Marie Gormalley (413)442-8924.
